WordPress 2.9 Problems & How To Fix Glitches

One of the greatest features of WordPress is that we can attach the stand alone blogs (self hosted) to our WordPress.com accounts. This provides such ease when wanting to add new plugins, designs and keep everything up to date. The problem is that when we see the yellow message to upgrade to WordPress 2.9, most do not know that it is not necessary to immediately upgrade to a new version. In fact, it is sometime better to wait a while before upgrading to a new WordPress version until you check what others are experiencing and reporting as problems. This is especially true with upgrades that have glitches like WordPress 2.9.
